Welcome to All Saints Episcopal Church in Bayside, New York. We’re glad you’re joining us for The Presentation of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Temple (Observed), also known as Candlemas.
On this feast day, the Church celebrates Christ as the light revealed to the nations. In today’s readings, we hear God’s call to justice and faithfulness, reflect on Christ’s saving work, and encounter the moving Gospel account of Jesus being presented in the Temple, where Simeon proclaims him as “a light for revelation.” Together, these readings invite us to recognize Christ’s presence among us and to carry that light into the world.
Whether you are worshiping from home or wherever you may be, we invite you to join fully in the prayers, hymns, and responses, and to participate spiritually in this celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
