  • Palm Sunday

    Sunday April 2, 2022 • 8 AM & 10 AM

On Palm Sunday, also known as “The Sunday of the Passion” we both literally and figuratively begin to walk through Holy Week. The service begins away from the main sanctuary. The story of the Triumphal Entry is read, palm branches are blessed, and we recall Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem by carrying the palms, singing a hymn and walking in procession to the main doors of the church which become symbolically the gates of Jerusalem. Instead of a regular reading of the Gospel, members of the congregation take part in reading the story of the last few days of Jesus’s mortal life. If you can make only one service during Holy Week, come on Palm Sunday as the music, pageantry, readings, and prayers touch on the main themes of the week. The 8 AM service will be a traditional Rite I service, and will not include the large procession. Only the 10 AM service will be live-streamed.

  • Holy Tuesday Tenebrae Service

    Tuesday April 4, 2023 • 7:30 PM

The word Tenebrae means shadows. The Tenebrae service consists of readings, prayer, and prayerful reading of psalms. The primary feature is the extinguishing of candles after many of the readings. As the candles are extinguished, the shadows lengthen until there is only one left. That is the light of Christ, and by it we depart. The service can be a moving experience as we savo the words of the psalmist, and are invited into a time of relaxed contemplation. Some members who come every year have remarked that it is their favorite of the special services.

  • Holy Wednesday Healing Service with Holy Eucharist

    Wednesday April 5, 2023 • 12 PM

Take a moment during your Holy Week journey, and join us for the Holy Wednesday Healing Service with Holy Eucharist Rite II. This tends to be a very intimate service, that is a great opportunity to pause, pray, and receive anointing oil. If you are unable to join us in person, feel free to join us via live-stream.

  • Maundy Thursday

    Thursday April 14, 2022 • 7:30 PM

On Maundy Thursday, we again bring body, mind and spirit into the worship of the day. We will begin the evening with a light Agapé supper at 6 PM. At 7:30 PM, we will proceed to the Maundy Thursday Liturgy. Two special things set this apart from all other services. The first is the Maundy, the ritual washing of feet that gives the day its name. The clergy wash the feet of any parishioners who come forward. It is a direct reminder of what Jesus did at the Last Supper. At the close of the service, the church and the altar are stripped of almost all ornamentation in reparation for the solemnity of Good Friday. The reserved Sacrament is taken to the Altar of Repose, the side altar which is decorated to be a reminder of the Garden of Gethsemane.

  • Good Friday

    Friday April 7, 2022

    Morning Retreat: 9:00 AM
Stations of the Cross: 12:00 PM
    Good Friday Liturgy: 1:00 PM

Join us beginning at 9 AM for our Good Friday Morning Retreat. Children of all ages, join together to make crafts and prepare our “Easter Garden.” At 12 noon, the Stations of the Cross again finds us walking symbolically in the footsteps of Our Lord. As we process around the stations (on Bell Boulevard), we read short pieces of scripture and pray collects that bring us from the trial of Jesus to Golgotha and the Tomb. The Good Friday Liturgy, while not a three hour service (even if it feels like it!!!), is a solemn service that includes special prayers, a reading of the Passion, communion from the Reserved Sacrament and the opportunity for the veneration of the cross and meditation. The daytime and evening services are essentially identical, however only the daytime service will be live-streamed.

  • The Great Vigil of Easter

    Saturday April 8, 2022 • 8 PM

This service is the very heart of the Church Year. It begins with the kindling of the New Fire, the lighting of the Paschal Candle and the singing of the ancient song of praise, the Exsultet. A series of wonderful readings and music then traces salvation history. That section culminates with baptism. We join in renewing our vows, and are made new and made ready truly to celebrate Easter. There are a few moments in the service that deserve not to be spoiled by being described. Just come and experience the Vigil!

  • Easter Day

    Sunday April 9, 2022 • 10 AM

We don’t like to boast, but there may not be any more beautiful place to celebrate Easter than All Saints. The flowers, music, and liturgy all proclaim the joy of the Resurrection. The 10:00 AM service is a Festival Holy Eucharist , Rite II (contemporary language) featuring special music. The celebration continues following the late service with a special coffee hour and the annual Easter Egg Hunt. We hope to see you!!
