Saturday October 4th | 12:00–3:00 PM
All Saints Episcopal Church, 214-35 40th Ave. Bayside, NY 11361
Celebrate creation and community at All Saints this St. Francis Day with a pet-friendly afternoon of blessings, art, and adoption!
12:00 PM – Blessing of the Animals
Join us in the Common Room yard for a pet-friendly service open to people of all faiths. Bring your pets—dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, or even a beloved stuffed animal—to receive a special blessing. Enjoy live music during the service as we celebrate the joy of God’s creation. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor your furry, feathered, or scaly companions while connecting with your community.
12:30–3:30 PM – Cat Adoption Event
Tom Kitten and Friends Rescue, a local pet adoption organization, will be on-site with adoptable cats ready to meet their new families. Come see these friendly felines and apply to bring one home! The rescue is also urgently seeking foster parents to socialize kittens for adoption—help make a difference as the winter winds approach. All Saints Episcopal Church is proud to support this effort and help place kittens in loving forever homes.
1:00 – 3:00 PM 1910 Gallery Fall Art Show – For the Beauty of the Earth Open Hours
While visiting, explore the 1910 Gallery Fall Art Show, featuring paintings, photography, and sculpture inspired by the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Discover fresh perspectives on creation and enjoy the incredible work of local and regional artists.
At 8 PM we will be hosting Open Mic Night in the 1910 Gallery. Swing by for an evening of family friendly entertainment with our friends from Major Tom’s Coffee House!
Bring your pets, friends, and family for an afternoon of blessings, adoption, and art. Together, we can celebrate creation and help our local kittens find loving homes!
